VERY RUDE WAITRESS!!! (Thin curly hair one) I went with my friend to have lunch today. It was not busy at all and we saw a lot of empty seats. When we asked the waitress if we could sit at the table instead of the bar, she did not respond us properly. She pointed at us and the bar seats, as she was saying that we had to sit at the bar. We could not believe her rude attitude for the customers. We were so angry and even lost our appetite for the food. While we were eating, we asked for small bowls and spoons. She just did not respond to us at all and ignored us. This was one of my favorite restaurants on St. Marks, but I am never coming back.

Waitress was horrible! I’m half white so I guess she didn’t realize I speak Japanese. She was literally complaining about every customer coming in the door right in front of me. Makes me think she must have said something bad about me. So awkward... Udon is frozen and cheap but you can get a relatively low cost meal here if that’s your highest priority. Overall I’m pretty stuffed and didn’t pay much so that’s cool.

Great spot for Japanese fast food. Dishes are yummy, very expected broth flavors. Leaning towards more traditional Japanese cuisine, so not that many options for vegetarians. Very few tables and a bar seating. Can be packed for lunch, and you might end up sitting very close to someone and barely have space to use your chopsticks.

The biggest gripe would be that the location itself was on the small side so there was a wait to get in and a feeling of being rushed to leave. Beyond that the food was good and very cost effective. A nice place to stop by for a quick bite to eat.
